Hugo’s recipes for Sabre !
This month we fill up with vitamins and good mood with Hugo's recipe for Sabre !
Orange and ricotta cake :
- 2 oranges
- 250 g of ricotta cheese
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. tablespoons cornstarch
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 20 g butter
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Zest the peel of an orange, then squeeze the juice. Reserve the zest and juice.
Mix the eggs and sugar in a bowl, then add the crumbled ricotta and orange juice with the cornstarch.
Pour the mixture into a buttered pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
In a saucepan, add half a glass of water, half a glass of sugar and a teaspoon of honey (optional). Heat, then add the second orange cut into thin strips. Leave to preserve for 20 minutes.
Unmould the softness in a plate, then arrange the candied orange slices.
To be tasted with the Sabre flatware !
